The students of Conetoe High School (CHS) began an Alumni Association (CHSAA) on September 2, 1978.  We have had strong participation over the years and have decided to have a Reunion every two years. 

Our next Reunion will be held on Memorial Day Weekend, 2012.

 We honor our Principals, Teachers and Staff from Conetoe High School; Roberson, Lawrence, White's Chapel, Mayo, Chincapin, Acorn Hill and Coakley Elementary Schools.

heartfelt congratulations and well wishes to Mr. Beaty!
 Mr. Alexander R. Beaty, former Conetoe High School faculty was recently recognized by the city of Winston Salem, NC by having the City's Public Safety Training and Support Center dedicated and renamed in his honor. Mr. Beaty taught Social Studies at Conetoe from 1965 to1970. He also coached the Conetoe High School Debate Team which won the State Championship in 1968. Later he moved to Winston Salem where he served with distinction in a number of positions with the city before being named the assistant city manager, a position from which he retired in 1994. Mr. Beaty was honored for his accomplishments during a Dedication and Naming Ceremony held on August 17, 2009.

Other Teacher Honors:
The gymnasium at North Edgecombe High School is named in honor of Mr. Warren Jones.

A retirement celebration honoring Edgecombe County District Attorney Howard S. Boney, Jr., was held on Thursday, April 30, 2009 in the District Courtroom of the Edgecombe County Courthouse, Tarboro, NC.  He represented Edgecombe, Nash and Wilson Counties.
